a Gospel Community is...
- a family of Missionary Servants who are sent to a people group to make disciples who make disciples.
- a people group formed to create supportive relationships where people feel loved, safe, accepted, and cared for within a God-following, loving atmosphere where they depend on one another for life's curve balls, celebrations and daily life events. In other words, a Gospel Community is a family. Within this family, the focus is on doing life as disciples of Jesus and living out the Great Commission in the “mission field” of the local community.
The Gospel Community concept begins with one group and over time multiplies into others in a ripple effect. Leaders grow and are discipled within a group and are later commissioned to go out to begin another Gospel Community focused on a particular people group.
It's family multiplied.
Our hope is that these Gospel Communities will be woven into the fabric of our cities.
